THIS ITEM IS SOLD. I sure wish this necklace was in colors I wear, because I would keep it. Fact is, I'm a blue and green kinda girl. This necklace is one of the most expensive ones (to make) I ever made. The beads were purchased from a man from Africa who saw our website and came to our home to sell us beads. The red beads are antique African glass whitehearts, over 100 years old. The yellow beads are African amber, also over 100 years old (and the most expensive beads I ever bought in six years of making jewelry). They are strung on leather with sterling findings and a contemporary sterling silver S clasp. At $50 plus shipping, I'm losing money on this one, but I want someone to wear it and enjoy it--it's not doing anyone any good sitting in a box in my house.
